Silicone rubber is based on MVQ polymer, with reinforcing filler such as silica and other additives. It is normally cured by peroxide or by addition curing process.

With different appearance, HCR rubbers are usually divided into Solid HCR and Liquid HCR.When MVQ polymer is modified with functional groups like Phenyl, trifluoropropyl, sulfhydryl,the rubbers will have better performance on high and low temperatures resistance, radiation resistance, damping and chemical stability.
